Richmond – A Neighbourhood Full of Character & Good Food

Whether you are new to the area or simply exploring somewhere different, we will share a few local recommendations here every month.
A couple favourites just by our office.
Our local pub The White Horse offers plenty of reasons to pop in throughout the week.
They have a diverse menu available through the week, including freshly made pizzas. And every Monday they have a deal on their freshly made pizza – we have tried all of them!
They also have everything from live piano evenings and open mic nights, to pub quizzes.
You can find out more about upcoming events via Instagram at

The Alberts Deli is an owner-run deli and café offering a welcoming spot for morning coffee, a leisurely brunch, or a catch-up with friends. They have a great selection of take-away sandwiches and home-made dinners.
Since taking over last year, Mark and the team have continued to build on its neighbourhood feel, with carefully chosen produce, and a growing calendar of events.
They host a monthly Supper Club, where chef Luca Mattia takes guests on a culinary journey through a different region of Italy. With a six-course menu and an intimate atmosphere centred around good food and conversation, it’s a lovely example of the experiences that make independent local businesses so special. The deli also hosts very popular Fizz Fridays and for any private hire or catering enquiries, pop in and speak to the team or email info@thealbertsdeli.com.

Supporting the Richmond community
It’s not just the food, drink and events that make local businesses special. The Alberts Deli also has a donation box for Richmond Good Neighbours, giving customers the opportunity to support a charity that helps older and vulnerable people in the local community.
Small gestures can make a real difference, and it’s encouraging to see local businesses creating opportunities for people to contribute while going about their everyday lives. It’s another reminder that a neighbourhood is shaped not just by its buildings and streets, but by the people and businesses that bring it together.
